Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) offered his support for Virginia GOP gubernatorial hopeful Bob McDonnell Wednesday, during three stops in the Commonwealth.
Pawlenty — a possible 2012 presidential condenter — attended a fundraising lunch for McDonnell in downtown Richmond, before making solo stops in Fredericksburg and Alexandria.
The pair wanted to talk about jobs and federal issues that they claim are bad for Virginia. But McDonnell was once more forced to address his controversial Master’s thesis, during a rocky press conference.
Pawlenty’s appearance at the small, 20-person fundraiser helped pull-in $75,000 for McDonnell’s campaign.
The Minnesota governor shrugged off my questions about whether he’s running for president in 2012.
