Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Brian Moran got bumped from MSNBC this morning because President Obama’s remarks from Germany ran longer than expected.
No worries. He popped up this afternoon to play Hardball with Chris Matthews.
Moran didn’t waste time rattling off some his more progressive ideas — opposing the coal-fired power plant in Surry, opposing offshore drilling, universal healthcare for Virginia’s children.
He also brought up the point that this election is “about Virginia” (Creigh Deeds said the same thing earlier this morning). Targeting Terry anyone?
Moran did look a little uncomfortable when Matthews pressed him about his vote in the 2008 presidential primaries. “C’mon, this is Hardball,” Matthews teased. For the record, Moran said he voted for Barack Obama.
A Moran spokesman said the former delegate will be back on MSNBC on Monday, to make up for this morning’s bump.
